When a jealous king wrongs his queen, he sets off a series of catastrophic events. But the tragedy soon evolves into a magical journey of unions and reunions. From mystical romance to musical buffoonery, this enduring roller-coaster of a play is a thrill to perform and an affirmation of redemption and joy.
Class culminates in a performance at the end of the semester.

Child’s Play NY‘s middle school ensemble works on complex material and relishes a challenge. From Greek Myths to Shakespearean Histories to classics of American Theater, we love a great play. Students inspire each other and do work that is brave, specific and nuanced.
